Tom is working in a supermarket. He is in charge of the management of a beverages department. Thanks to RFID and sensors he is able to monitor information about the products, type/variety, state, condition of the storage, expiry date, quantity/stock in the line, the changes in the products' location, time of moves, location, position. Furthermore he's informed of the consumers' profiles, time spent in the area or in front of a product, products they are interested in, etc. He infers: The flow of the goods in the section, the efficiency of his marketing strategy in the department, and he learns about the behavior/satisfaction of the consumers according to the supply. In real time, he observes the way the products impact the consumers' behavior.
