To really understand the Internet of Things (IoT) requires application, implementation, and execution in the real world. IEEE IoT recently launched a program to provide the IoT community an interactive platform on which to engage with use cases, service descriptions, business models, and reference implementations that will be key to developing a vibrant IoT industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute to the IoT cause, as well as get excellent exposure for your projects and ideas.

The Wholly See: A New Vision for a Self-Describing World
- The Wholly See
- Our technology is based on encoding information in photonic-engineered tags placed on objects and subjects, and decoding them using a smart (hyperspectral) camera. Not only can we identify who or what the camera is looking at, but also remotely infer the 3D coordinates, speed, and orientation of a tagged entity. The system can then collect data on observed entities and provide analytics on their identity and movement, which aligns with the IoT theme. See www.thewhollysee.com/applications/
