To really understand the Internet of Things (IoT) requires application, implementation, and execution in the real world. IEEE IoT recently launched a program to provide the IoT community an interactive platform on which to engage with use cases, service descriptions, business models, and reference implementations that will be key to developing a vibrant IoT industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to contribute to the IoT cause, as well as get excellent exposure for your projects and ideas.

Handscape: Re-inventing Touch
HandScape demonstrates a “smart case” for iPad Air, as a prototype of their technology. The HandScape “smart case” will attach to the back of an iPad Air and enable the user to interact with the iPad using all fingers from the back panel and “see” their hands through the iPad.
App developers will use the HandScape software and SDK to provide an intuitive means to see, tap and swipe on-screen objects without obscuring the screen with their hands. The smart case allows for 1-handed and 2-handed interaction with games, maps and other next-generation applications.
