Description of Startup:
The Internet of Things may become a new defacto platform for products. How can we encourage our young people to experiment and invent in this connected world?  The KinderNet of Things provides a simple, affordable plug-and-play environment for young people, comprising a controller, and a set of sensors and actuators that can be added to standard toys and construction sets like Lego, blocks, dollhouses, plush toys and cardboard constructions.  The Make!Things product comes in two forms: a stand-alone battery-powered playset and a computer or tablet version which allows programmatic control via a language like Scratch, Javascript, or Python.  Included with the kits are motors, lights, buzzers, sound recorders, switches and sensors that measure light, heartbeat, distance, magnets, etc.
