Description of Startup:

With the emergence of Internet of Things, a lot of connected objects and sensors need to be powered. Depending on their direct environment these objects can be powered by energy harvesters micro-generator.

Thermal energy is present all around us in small quantities. MODULO project aims at making a micro-generator integrated on silicon chip being compact and robust which could be used as an autonomous generator for powering connected objects thanks to small temperature gradient.

This technology permits to envision fully autonomous wireless air-flow/temperature sensors. These sensors harvest the energy they need to communicate through a standard communication protocol directly into their direct environment. Thus they are really autonomous and have no need for batteries or maintenance.
